The Beatles-Sgt Pepper’s LHCB 1984 UK DMM *White Label Test Press**HTM*
This is an impossibly rare, 1984 UK Test Pressing, created at the EMI Hayes, Middlesex, pressing plant.
Has white labels to both sides that are in fantastic shape, with very little evidence of having been played.
EMI test-pressing batches for Beatles titles at EMI Hayes in the 1980’s were generally:
6–12 copies total per batch
This is because stereo Pepper was still in active production, unlike the deleted mono version, so:
• the label needed approval copies,
• QC listened to fresh stampers,
• export partners sometimes received test copies,
• engineers occasionally took reference copies.

Realistic estimate: 8–10 copies
Upper bound: 12–15 if multiple departments needed sign-off.
Because Beatles titles were high-priority, test-press runs were slightly larger than usual EMI jobs—but still very small.

Side One: YEX 637-6-1-1 HTM
Side Two: YEX 638-6-1-2
Media (Play Tested): VG+ The vinyl has retained a glossy sheen and sits completely flat with no warping. Sounds incredible but has light surface marks under bright light. Very clean labels with minimal marks and very light age discolouration.
Sleeve: EX+ EMI Inner Sleeve with Factory Seals (Broken).
