The Beatles-Rubber Soul-1982 Near Mint MFSL Audiophile Rock LP

This is a near mint copy of the 1982 MFSL release of The Beatles LP, Rubber Soul, released originally in 1965. This LP was recorded from the original master tapes at half speed and pressed on audiophile quality virgin vinyl (which is opaque in that light passes through) by Victor Company of Japan (JVC). The package includes the original protective promotional card board insert in which LP was housed, as well as the original dust resistant plastic record sleeve.

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is in near mint condition with no visible marks on the vinyl. The LP was tested through headphones after manual cleaning plays beautifully and quietly. As the LP was tested several weeks before listing it should, of course, be cleaned again before play. The cover is in excellent condition. The corners on all sides are very slightly worn. The top seam and bottom seams are strong with only minor  rub wear/loss of color  on the bottom seam near the mouth and slight spot wear on the top seam, but no splits on either seam. The spine is relatively strong as well with the product information clearly readable. There is slight flaking in one area just above the product information but not yet split. The front and back of the cover are very clean and vibrant

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
