Description
The Beatles- Rubber Soul. 1965 UK mono first press 14 Track Vinyl LP in front laminated, flipback Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve. This copy is the scarce, withdrawn ' Loud Cut' variant on the yellow and black Parlophone label with ' The Gramophone Co' and ' Sold In The UK' label text. ( PMC 1267) KT Tax code on the side 2 label only.

Pro cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC S2 ALU record cleaning machine using a quality alcohol free vinyl cleaning liquid.
Play Tested/ Strictly Graded:
Vinyl- VG to VG+ in decent condition for age. audio wise it plays through nicely with only the occasional bit of split second light background crackle ( with a couple of light clicks between the tracks ) on 2 or 3 of the intros. Visually there are the usual lightish, superficial hairlines/inner sleeve scuffs. A decent listen VG/VG+
Sleeve- is fully intact with no tears/rips etc. There is one longish crease on the top right of the laminated front and minor wear at the edges and corners The spine has a little wear but is clear and readable. The unlaminated reverse is pretty nice with one Little patch of age discolouration at the opening. The flipbacks are clean and lovely. VG/VG+
This will come with a new pvc protective outer sleeve and a new white inner sleeve along with the original Emitex inner.
I will ship overseas (EU included) but please note that there will almost certainly be a customs/vat charge for you to play on delivery. Please do not order if you are not prepared to pay this charge.
Please not that I am only posting out using Royal Mail Signed for delivery at the moment as the postal service is more erratic than usual due to the ongoing situation. I do not make a profit on Packaging and Shipping,in fact I lose money on every order due to the fact that I use quality Record Mailing boxes/ stiffening pads and usually include a new pvc and new inner sleeve with most orders. However:
I Will combine shipping with any of my other items. Just add purchases to your basket and request an amended invoice ( this Only works on the full eBay site on PC/ Mac and not on the mobile app. or pay separately and I will refund the excess postage amount on dispatch.
I use the Record Collector Grading System sometimes with a + or - to indicate that it's slightly better or slightly worse than that.
Mint- The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT; The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD; The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR; The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I will not sell any vinyl below this grade.
