Description
You are buying a very rare Beatles album Please Please Me:
Rare UK MONO 3RD PRESS - PARLOPHONE - PMC 1202 - A fine example of a UK mono 3rd pressing, 1N/ 1N matrixes and Mother stampers
Side one - 1 PM
Side two - 1 RR
So side one made with the 1st mother (1) and the 64th stamper (PM) and side two with the 1st mother and the 22nd (RR) stamper
This therefore is quite an early pressing
Labels with "The Parlophone" rim text, small 33 1/3 at 9pm. Black/ yellow labels are bright and clean, MT tax code on side 2 label only.
The record is glossy VG condition, both sides display numerous light surface marks, light scuffs & scratches but nothing feelable of note. Plays well., string audio. The sleeve has some edge shelf wear.
The cover is a first press cover with “photo: Angus Mcbean” under the S of songs which denotes this.
Cover bright and glossy. The corners have edge wear and there is some discolouration on the rear and top and bottom flap damaged slightly.
The cover is in one piece no major rips or tears.
