Description
You are viewing an auction for The Beatles "Beatles '65" vinyl LP - Capitol Records ST 2228.
The album is still factory sealed. The back cover features the phrase "This Stereo Record Should Be Played Only With A Stereo Cartridge and Needle to Avoid Damage." This is characteristic of only early 1960s stereo pressings on Capitol Records. If carefully viewed, the inner sleeve color of "rust" is plainly visible indicating that this LP was manufactured near the end of 1964/early 1965. The shrink wrap has "breathes holes" commonly found on most original Capitol sealed records from that time period. The back cover has no number next to the RIAA symbol. This particular LP was manufactured at the Scranton, PA pressing plant as indicated by the "absence" of any small number normally located in that area.
All four corners show varying amounts of wear. The top left corner has slight wear as does the bottom left corner. The upper right corner has some fraying of the cover that resulting from a small split in the shrink (about an inch) in that area. The bottom right corner is a bit rounded. When you turn the LP to the back side, there is a creased area in the bottom right corner.
PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION.
Buyer pays $15 for shipping and handling.
