The Beatles-A Hard Day's Night- 1987 Near Mint MFSL Rock LP

This is a near mint audiophile pressing of the Beatles LP, A Hard Days' Night, released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in 1987, pressed at half speed by JVC (Japan Victor Company) on virgin vinyl, which is opaque in that light passes through the vinyl. This LP was purchased new by me over 20 years ago.

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some. Most of the items I am selling will be in the Excellent to Near Mint range, with only a very few lower that are listed due to extreme rarity.

The LP is in near mint condition with no detectable visual wear. The LP has been play graded using headphones after having been cleaned by hand, and plays beautifully and quietly. The cover is a two piece glued cover that is in very good condition. The corners are slightly worn and there is crease along the bottom of the cover near the mouth. There are also few light short creases at the top of the front cover. There is some very light seam wear, spot loss of color in few areas on top and bottom seams as well as on spine. But the seams and spins are strong with no splits and product information is clearly readable on spine. The original audiophile plastic record sleeve is present, but the cardboard insert in which the LP is usually inserted is not

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
