Hello everyone,
I'm downsizing my collection of records built over sixty years plus. I have listed and will be listing more lots over the coming weeks. Below are the details of these three and condition : record first and outer sleeve second.
Abbey Road Stereo PCSO-7088 An Australian pressing. Light lines and fine scuffs throughout plus 3 or 4 1" long scratches. There is also a slight wobble, one per revolution, which decreases as the LP progresses. It has no effect on play and is too little to damage the stylus. All in all this doesn't look good but the record plays brilliantly, loud and without a tiny amount between just a couple of tracks. distortion of any sort, and there is an almost total absence of background noise. Vg- / Vg +. The sleeve has no damage to the spine, has just a touch of the top and bottom opening corners and a crease top left on the front.
Let It Be Stereo PCS-7096 Matrix : YEX 773 3U and 774 3U. The sleeve mentions South East Asia, Hong kong and Malaysia but the label doesn't have any such info apart from the numbers I've stated. Light lines and small light scuffs throughout plus one 1" non-sounding scratch. It is dead flat and plays tracks without background noise which can be heard a tad between a couple of tracks. The has minimal wear to the spine and the sleeve has no tearing but the outer laminate is coming away. VG / VG
Yellow Submarine Stereo 8E 07204002 Matrix : 715 - 4 and 716 - 2. A Portuguese pressing. Just a few very light and faint sleeve removal lines plus two short scratches on the B side. One 5mm on the run in and one 10mm on the first track. These give one tick per revolution but the good news is that first track is the orchestral intro and not a vocal number. That apart, the record plays really well and without background noise.
The sleeve has very little wear. VG + / EXC -
Visually, this are not the finest three Beatles LPs you'll see. Apart from the aforementioned imperfections I don't think I could hear them sound better. All clear, loud and without distortion.
