Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and The Titans-"This Is Where It Started", Metro MS 563, released in 1966. This is the scarcer Stereo pressing of this LP. Another attempt to cash in on Beatlemania, this is MGM's subsidiary, Metro, re-releasing MGM's 1964 "The Beatles With Tony Sheridan & Guests" LP, minus two tracks. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- condition with a couple of tiny marks. This has some spindle marks, so it was played but it was played very carefully and/or sparingly. Cover is in VG- condition, with general age wear, nothing too severe, but it's kind of grubby looking, especially on the back, and there are a couple of marks on the front. There is a repaired (with glue, not tape) partial bottom seam split. This is a pretty hard LP to find, especially with the vinyl condition.
