Hello, I am not a grader or even a collector of vinyl records although I do own hundreds from back in the day. If you live in the Vernon, CT area all of my auctions are free to pick up. Just from looking at other listings and making comparisons I am not sure if this would grade vg- or what?? I do not know whether the album cover or albums themselves make the value? I saw recently that there were two comparable listings that ended recently at $255 and the other $228.01 therefore I decided to start bidding at $199.99. This album looks to be similar, condition wise to me and to these auctions selling $228-$255. The records here in this listing looks better than a recent one that sold for $179.04. It looks worse than the one's that have sold for $305 and up. I have more pictures of the albums so if you would like to see them please message me. I do not see any ink on the cover and the scoring section was never filled out. The cover does have some splits on all 4 corners. One of the top splits goes the length. I just noticed (didn't see it until more closely inspected) there is a single staple near the top. Only one of the lower corner split goes about 4 1/2" in the other lower isn't really split through. The albums themselves have what I would call light to medium scratches and scuffs. The albums look better in the photos than they do in person to be honest. It looks like it would play (I never tried it) maybe with some skips but I really don't know. The Beatles album is in a little bit better shape than the 4 Seasons album.
