We grade the beautiful gatefold cover remaining in the original distributor Sears baggy as Excellent Plus. The cover is very clean and doesn’t have any splits, wear, writing, soiling or residue. The front cover only has some very light age scuffing and a little hint of ring wear at the top. The back cover as well as the interior gatefold cover are in Near Mint Minus condition. The rigid spine contains a fully readable text. The vinyl is graded conservatively as follows:
Introducing The Beatles – Side 1/2: Strong Very Good Plus, closer to the Excellent Plus side. It has only a few very light non-feelable marks and hairlines. The vinyl retains its shiny glossy factory lacquer. The Side 1 label is in pristine Near Mint Condition and Side 2 label is Excellent Plus only having a couple of super light barely visible spindle marks that can be seen under a strong light. Both labels are very clean and are scuff- and wear-free.
The Golden Hits of The Four Seasons – Side 1/2: Very Good Plus. The vinyl retains its factory gloss only having some very light non-feelable surface hairlines and marks as well as scuffs from the original inner sleeve. The labels are very clean and in Near Mint Minus condition, scuff- and wear-free, only having a couple of very light spindle marks that can be seen under a strong light.
Both records sound amazing only having some very light occasional static which most likely will go away if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. The original red Vee-Jay Records inner sleeves are in Near Mint condition without having any splits or tears, just like the original poster which is also in great condition.
