Very rare US Beatles Mono record from 1966

Yesterday and Today The "Butcher" Cover

3rd state (Peeled)

Capitol Rainbow Label T-2553 Mono

Release date: June 1966

 

The front cover has a great peel. A great example of a 3rd state. The area around right hand side has been reset after lifting during peel, see scan. Rest of peel is perfect. 

Rear of cover has stains as a result of age, use, handling, storage and writing over last 50+ years. Cover in one piece. some separation on mouth, see scans.

Clean Labels.

Scans show condition. 

 The vinyl is 100% flat and plays without skips.

This cover was manufactured in the LA pressing plant as indicated by the small 6 next to the logo on the back bottom right hand of the cover. 

The Columbia letter is shown to tell the recall story.
