Description
I am selling an original 3rd state "Butcher Cover" version of the LP "Yesterday and Today" by The Beatles. Released by Capitol Records in the U.S.A., catalog #ST 2553 Stereo. The cover is sadly in "poor shape" overall, as the previous owner was unsuccessful in partially peeling off the replacement cover art. They peeled around Paul and Ringo's face, making a mess of the cover and only partially revealing the original butcher cover below. Cover has significant shelf wear / rubbing, and seam splits along the bottom edge and spine. Vinyl has several scratches and marks, but has been play tested and sounds great all the way through with no major pops or skips. Includes original Capitol Records inner sleeve which has significant shelf wear, creasing and seam splits. Please see photos of back cover and labels for more details. Back cover has a small number 5 printed in the bottom right hand corner next to the RIAA seal.
