Description
you are bidding on a 2nd state butcher album. This was pressed in Los Angeles ( as indicated by a * in the margin of the vinyl), side one is matrix # T-1-2553-F-23, side 2 is # T-2-2253-G-18. This is NOT a trunk cover, there is clear bleed-through from the original cover, it shows up good in photos and it shows up even better in person. As a whole this cover and record are in great condition, the cover is not falling apart in any way, the insert is nearly pristine and the vinyl is free of any end user gouges. All issues are covered in the full disclosure section below.
If you are a peeler this is a great album, the cover is structurally stable and ready to bare its original artwork, if you have the skills I have the album.
Full disclosure: All issues mentioned have been photographed so you can see what you are getting. On the cover are two light stains in the left margin near the center. On the reverse of the album there are a few small wrinkles at the top and bottom near the spine. On the album itself side 2 has some divots that appear to have been present prior to cutting the record. I don't think these divots will impair playback as the grooves seem to go through them without any distortion- I do not own a record player so I can not guarantee the record will play perfectly through this section- I did magnify this area and the grooves look fine though.
Shipping: To ensure this reaches you in the condition you purchase it, it will be removed from the cover (to prevent any damage to the cover) and both the cover and the record will be wrapped in a protective layer, then packaged together and shipped USPS with tracking info.
