Description

You are bidding on a US mono pressing copy of the Beatles - Yesterday and Today LP released by Capitol Records in 1966. This is T-2253. Second state butcher cover with the obvious signs of the original cover below the trunk photo. The paste on trunk photo is still very much intact over the original butcher photo. The record is not in great shape, Good + condition at best with lots of scratches and scuffs, so really the main attraction here is the second state butcher cover jacket. The record labels are in VG- condition. The record jacket is in VG-/G+ condition with very light shelfwear, rignwear, and edgewear. There are two splits on the spin of the jacket, a 3 to 4 inch split starting at the bottom edge and a smaller one inch split in the middle of the spine. There is also a one inch split on the top seam of the jacket. There are some brown stains on the back of the jacket.

Special shipping notice: As of July 28th, 2013, we are no longer offering shipping to Italy due to continued problems with packages getting to their proper destination in a timely basis (if at all!).  We are sorry we have to do this, but unfortunately we have seen a recent spike in the amount of packages being shipped to Italy  that have either gone missing entirely or have taken excessively long to reach their destination.

We visually grade all of our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:

Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!

Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.

Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.

Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches.  generally still a great playing copy.  jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.

Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.

Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches.  jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
