Description
A fantastic reproduction (vinyl NOT included) of the Beatles BUTCHER stereo LP sleeve in MINT condition. It is an accurate repro of the sleeve in heavy cardboard – using exact same dimensions of the original included pasted-on slick. The front cover has the famous butcher textured photo slick (have tried to show close up of texture in last two photos) that has been neatly pasted onto the cardboard - to mirror the original. Rear sleeve has the album details as well as Beatle album pictures along bottom with number “5” in bottom right hand corner - next to the RIAA logo. The spine is intact and the writing is crystal clear “YESTERDAY AND TODAY – THE BEATLES” at top end of spine and “STEREOPHONIC Capital ST2553” at lower end of spine. A very accurate repro sleeve that looks great mounted and framed (see photo – but please note FRAME IS NOT INCLUDED – photo is just to show effect).
Also included with the sleeve :-
1. repro inner sleeve in orange with pictures of other Capital records (made in very heavy paper.
2. Repro copy of the recall letter sent to US retailers asking to send the albums back.
3. Four page summary of how the album came about and the value (in $) of the various states of the album.
Please note this is not the original sleeve but a very good, accurate reproduction. There is no vinyl just sleeve. It is a very good copy for people who don't own the original. As stated previously it has the same dimensions of the original and looks great mounted and framed for display as it is in mint condition– a great item for any Beatle fan – would make great Christmas present.
