The Beatles Yesterday and Today Butcher Cover T 2553 L.A. Mono Third State.
Here’s a fresh peel by the absolute best in the business. Jim Hansen of Blue Jay Way Galleries has peeled our butcher covers for the past twenty years with nothing but positive results.
What makes this piece so unique is that it is presumably a cut out cover as mentioned by Jim in his authentication letter which is included as well. Not many Beatle albums found their way into cut out bins in the 1960’s.
This piece here is in beautiful shape. Top and bottom seams are firm. Spine is beautiful except for a two inch crack and the very bottom that has been repaired very nicely. Back does shows some toning and light foxing. There is a light stain in areas at the bottom of the cover. Butcher itself is in gorgeous shape. There are two touch up areas at the very bottom corners and that’s it’s. Nothing major for such a beautiful piece.
Also included is the original inner sleeve with the cut out as well. Record grades VG. Also included is a copy of the recall letter.
