Description
THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY AND TODAY'
This 100% genuine example of The Beatles' infamous 'Butcher Cover' is a 3rd-state (peeled) mono example
Please note that this auction is for the COVER ONLY - no disc is included in this lot
The number '3' is present in the lower right corner of the rear panel, indicating manufacture at Capitol's Scranton factory
CONDITION
Cover: VERY GOOD -
The front panel has undergone a clean & tidy peel, which the images above can describe better than I.
There is a some light wear to the corner but more significantly there is a 13cm (5") split along the lower seam from the right corner inwards and a another 9cm 'crack' towards the other corner.
The upper seam is fully intact
Both opening edges are clean, sharp and unworn.
The rear panel is fairly clean with a few minor storage blemishes but no writing or missing paper.
The spine is worn and cracked with the upper set of wording just visible
