The Beatles "Yesterday And Today"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Capitol SDT 8-2553. It was originally released from 1966. This is the Capitol Record Club issue, on the green label, released in 1969. You had to be in the Capitol Record Club to get this issue. It has an '8' in the record number which makes it a record club issue. The '8' in on the labels, on the back cover at top right, and on the spine. Also there are three diagonal lines on the top seam, which are on the back cover at top right. This issue is important because all of the songs are in true stereo. You can hear the difference !!
This is a compilation of Beatles songs from various UK albums and two singles. Every song is great.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M
The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. It's still in the original shrink wrap. The only defect is a bent corner at top right. The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
The songs are : Drive My Car, I'm Only Sleeping, Nowhere Man, Dr. Roberts, Yesterday, Act Naturally, And Your Bird Can Sing, If I Needed Someone, We Can Work It Out, What Goes On, and Day Tripper.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 3 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 19 ounces ( 1 pound, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
