The Beatles - Yesterday And Today 1971 Re Vinyl LP Apple ST-2553 is a high-fidelity reissue of the iconic album released by Apple Records. This LP features classic tracks by The Beatles, known for their rock 'n' roll and pop rock style from the 1960s British Invasion era. The 12" vinyl comes in a black color, with original inner sleeve and cover, and is in near mint condition. With stereo audio channels and a nostalgic feel, this vinyl LP is a must-have for any Beatles or music collector.
We utilize the Goldmine Grading standard:
Mint (M) = Unopened, still in the original shrink wrap.
Near Mint (NM) = Should look like it was purchased that day. No discernible flaws. Very, very few records are of this quality. I am reluctant to use this grade, even if warranted, as someone determined to find an imperfection may be able to do so.
Excellent (EX) = Albums that fall between the categories above and below. The holy grail of "play copies." These albums sound amazing but, you don't need to wear gloves to handle them. These albums appear to have been played infrequently or not at all. Playback will be very clean. May contain superficial defects that do not affect playback but are nevertheless visible. Feather light hairlines or paper scuffs which don't affect playback. Some sellers utilize VG++ but I find this cumbersome.
Very Good Plus (VG+) = This is the category that most well taken care of records fall into. These albums retain their sheen/gloss. You can expect a few minor signs of wear. Light but visible scratches or marks that don't dramatically affect playback, the audio may contain a few light pops, or occasional static in the quieter moments, etc. These albums can also have signs of minor warping, again, as long as the playback is not impacted.
Very Good (VG) = Similar to VG+ but the defects will be more numerous and/or more obvious. Heavier scratches, scuffs, signs of major handling and wear that affect playback. Noticeable surface noise; pops, clicks, static etc. but the record will absolutely still play through. The vast majority of records will fall into this category. However, collectors on a budget may find these appealing as VG records are amongst the biggest bargains in the collecting hobby. The big $$ going to the pristine and rarer grades. The sleeves will show definite signs of corner imperfections, split sleeve, visible ring wear, etc.
Good+ (G+) and the subgrade of Good (G) = In the record world, 'Good' is not good. These are heavily used records with visible scratches, scuffs, and defects throughout. These produce significant surface noise, but should still play through. G+ albums are great filler/play copies for collectors who will eventually upgrade but want to get their hands on one now! I've been there... We don't generally offer albums in this condition. Exceptions will include records of exceeding rarity. Albums that despite their poor condition are still highly collectible.
Fair and Poor (F and P) = May cause damage to the needle therefore we do not deal with records in this condition.
All albums shipped in protective inner and outer anti-static sleeves.
