Description
Here is a nice copy of the desirable mono "Yellow Submarine" album. Pictures are the item for sale.
Cover is very good, with light staining on the back, probably just from handling, and being 45 years old. No problems with the lamination, front has formed somewhat, to the shape of the record. Colours are super, corners at the opening a bit bent, top and bottom. A little roughness along the opening.
Original black inner is present.
Record has very nice labels, but playing surface has various scratches and marks - hasn't been treated with care. One clumsy previous owner, who I bought it from. No horribly deep or wide scratches. I have play-tested this, on my good hi-fi. It plays very well - certainly no skips or sticking, no injuries deep enough to cause anything like that. Crackles can be heard between tracks, but otherwise, no audible crackling during the music, except on sparse / quiet parts. Those who know this album will know, there is very little by way of sparseness, it's mainly loud and/or multi-layered. Only crackles I heard during music, were on "All Together Now", the parts with just vocal and acoustic guitar. The music sounds as it should - I know this album well, and have "The Beatles In Mono" to compare with. I have only bothered about the Beatles side, haven't listened to George Martin's (agreeable) music on side 2.
Record Collectors Guide suggests a price of £225 for a mint copy of this. Making allowances for condition of this copy, then knocking off a load more, I can offer this for £70. If nobody buys this, I'll be happy to keep it - I won't be re-listing, this ends on 17th, one way or the other.
I will "accept returns", if not as I have stated.
Postage at cost, £2.80 inside UK. Winner can message me if some special kind of post is preferred.
Dispatch will usually be "next day".
Collection in person is welcome.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage is not possible through the Program.
