Description
The Beatles - Yellow Submarine Mono vinyl LP. First pressing. Catalogue number PMC 7070.
Record
Label has “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and “Sold In U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists” text. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p).
The record is in a black inner sleeve with a die-cut circular opening on one side to expose the Apple label. The cover is worn with splits at the bottom and side where the record has been dropped in, and is a bit ragged around the top.

Record is in good condition for age and has been cleaned on a Knosti record cleaning machine. There are some surface scratches but I played the record this morning on a modest turntable and there were no skips, jumps or obtrusive surface noise apart from the following:
There is some surface noise for the first 10 seconds of "Yellow Submarine" track and after 2 minutes although the latter is masked by the sea noises.
There is also a small skip at 48 seconds track of "Yellow Submarine" which I estimate loses a second of music but not the vocals.The record is now stored in a new anti static poly lined inner sleeve but the original black inner sleeve has been retained.
Cover
Cover is front laminated flipback sleeve manufactured by Garrod and Lofthouse with PMC 7070 and “Also available on Stereo No. PCS 7070? in the upper right corner and red lines above and below rear sleevenote.
The cover is in good condition for its age. There is a 10mm tear on the rear by the record opening and a 15mm piece of laminate is missing from the bottom front. The corners have some burring but the spine is very good with the record name clearly visible. The only flaw is that at some point I wrote my name on the top right of the rear of the rear sleeve.
