You are  bidding on a 12” vinyl LP of The Beatles album, Yellow Submarine.

This is from  my own personal collection. It’s time to make  some  space so sadly I am selling  my vinyl  collection. Please check out my other   items  for sale and there are many more to follow, so keep  checking back.

I am not a  record dealer and I am not an expert at  grading records. I will give as much information as possible to assist in  identifying particular albums and an  honest opinion as to condition.

For the vinyl collectors looking in,  the following information is available:

Label: Apple (EMI)

Year: Various dates appear on the label and cover. 1966, 1967, 1969. (I am not sure what pressing this is)

Mfd. in UK

Catalogue No: PCS 7070

Additional  Matrix number information: YEX 715 -4 and YEX 716 1

Stereo.

Condition:

Record: Visually very good. Both labels very clean. A few light finger marks, but I can't see any scuffs or scratches at all. I have played it all the way through. It plays really well. No skips, jumps or sticking. I heard only one single "click" during the whole album. (It was on side 2 possibly around track 4 or 5 - one of the George Martin compositions). Overall, a really clean sound.

Cover: Single sleeve - laminate to front and a matt back. Front and back very clean. Cover feels sturdy. Some minor creases to the laminate (none more than approx. 1cm) coming from spine to front. Non-obtrusive. Back has a little ring marking where the album has sat inside. The back isn't dirty as such, but probably not as white as it was when it was new. A few darker areas around the edges - possibly from handling or age. All four corners are good. No sign of shelf wear to top or bottom edges. Spine is quite narrow (as it probably was originally) but all text is clear and readable.

Inner sleeve: White plain paper. Some age discolouration. a 2mm tear one side. No other issues.

Compared with how others grade LP’s on eBay I would  say this is easily VGC+. I believe some would even grade higher than that.  

This isn’t a“mint” album, but it is an extremely respectable looking and playing album.

I  would rather be honest from the outset, than  end up with a  disappointed winning  bidder. I buy  things on eBay as well and would expect the  same honesty from others.

All albumsare dispatched in sturdy cardboard mailers with additional stiffeners, to  ensure safe  arrival. The cost of this packaging isincluded in the postage price.
