Description
This is the original UK 1st pressing of the MONO album "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles on the Apple label catalogue number PMC 7070. The front of the outer sleeve has only minor discolouration and one small, light thumb nail crease. Other than this it is in an outstanding EX+++ condition. The rear of the sleeve again has minor discolouration. It has the expected red lines above and below the text and is a first issue sleeve having no sleeve manufacturer named on the bottom rear right sie flipback. The sleeve has no splits or tears and only displays light shelf wear. Overall an outstnaind example of a rare 1st issue 1969 album. The original black inner has no splits or tears and only very light creasing, again an outstanding example. The labels on both sides are in EX+ condition displaying some spindle wear only. The vinyl on side one is in an outstanding EX+++ condition having only one very very light hairline and some ultra light sleeve removal lines only visible under bright light. Side two is in similar condition. The vinyl has a high sheen and is graded EX++. Matrix numbers on side one are: XEX 715-1 and side two matrix numbers are: XEX 716-1. This is an outstanding example of the rarer Mono album that is favoured by many and is difficult to obtain in this type of condition.
