For Sale is a 1968 1st press, top opening copy of the Beatles White album. It carries a unique number of 0299408. It is an original MONO press with the matrix numbers: YEX 709, 1... YEX 710, 1.... YEX 711, 1 and YEX 712, 1. About 1" above the spindle hole it reads Sold in the U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists. Below that in bold capitols it reads THE BEATLES, and under that it reads Production by George Martin and under that Orchestrations by George Martin. The catalogue number is PMC 7068. The sleeve has wear to the spine (still strongly intact and edge wear by opening. It is the Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve with flip backs. There is a scratch on side one that plays through fine. It has its black inner sleeves and has its 4 pictures and also its poster. Any Beatle fan would be happy to own this item. It is a reasonable number, most that turn up now are a lot higher than this and very often in a lot worse condition. It will be sent recorded delivery and properly packed in a strong mailer within 48hrs of you making payment. Any questions please feel free to e-mail me. Also feel free to check my feedback. Thankyou for looking and happy bidding. Apart from the one scratch which isnt deep i would grade this item as ex.
