Commonly known as ''The White Album''. Issued with 4 glossy photographs and a folded poster with all lyrics.
Embossed lettering (The Beatles) and number printed on the cover in format No.0000000
This version opens from the top of the fully laminated gatefold sleeve. The sleeve spine has both Stereo cat.# and Mono cat.# The back cover is completely blank.
Black paper inner sleeves, die cut window on one side.
All label sides: "An E.M.I. Recording" and "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists" All titles on the labels are followed by the publishing company and NCB. 1968 release...
Condition and details below:
SEE PHOTOS: - All round condition and playback is first class! A great copy...Cover is intact and has strong lamination; ....front slight ringwear but exceptionally clean for age;... rear very clean too, some light marks and a bit of light fraying at top opening only signs of age...spine has 2 small rust ?? marks....blac original inners excellent , no rips, clean and smooth....poster and pics = haven't been used; the poster has a very very slight tear on one fold; .... photos are excellent, just a small mark on JOHN....labels: - all exellent, no marks , clean and new looking vinyl = LP1 = a couple of very very faint hairlines and a mark on side 2....; hardly any sign of real use; ....LP2 = exceptional, looks as if not played, no strong marks and a great shine...playback - really quiet between tracks and really powerful!...LP1 = excellent, no surface noise detected in play , a small mark causes slight click on RR, a couple of faint clicks on Julia; LP2 = no noise... - really powerful
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS LP IS AN AGED, USED ITEM, AND WILL NOT LOOK OR PLAY PERFECTLY. I always try to give a fair overview of condition and a selection of photos, which give an indication of what you are buying/bidding on.
I always play test and give a fair appraisal of how the LP sounds on my system; this is always a subjective thing, and so may vary on others - If there are any flaws or jumps detected I will mention this and it will be reflected in the price/starting bid; NB: sometimes items may need further cleaning etc. Postage is, UK, 2nd class signed for and international sales are through eBay's GSP (global shipping program)
My gradings are through the Goldmine standard, and as accurate as I can make them (although please bear in mind it is still subjective and mistakes can occur ) :)
