Description

This is an original 1968 UK Mono LP record for The Beatles double White Album.

Original UK FIRST PRESS Mono Release

Fully Laminated, N0. 0167043 Top Opening Garrod & Lofthouse Wide Spine Gatefold Sleeve with Embossed Title and Inner Flipbacks 

 

Records - Glossy.  There are 2 Jumps at the start of Back in the USSR. There is lots of light and moderate scratches to both records.  noticeable scratch side 4 (see photo) seems to play fine with no jumps. There is some crackle and pops during play otherwise side 1and 2 are fair to good. Side 3 good and 4 is good-.

Cover - Gatefold top opener. Age browning and spine wear otherwise fair to good condition.

Label - Spindel marks otherwise very good to excellent.

Black Diecut Inners are a bit tatty with tears otherwise they are good-

No poster/photos

This is a good fill in record till you can afford a better copy.

Grading Guide:

Mint (M): No marks, no faults, as new

Near Mint (NM): Minor scuff marks that do not affect playback.

Very Good ++ (VG++ or EX): No scratches; some visible light scuff marks on parts of the surface.

VG+: Very minor light scratches, odd scuff mark but retaining original lustre. Well looked after.

VG: Number of scratches and scuff marks; loss of original shine; spindle marks. Occasional audible pop and crackle.

G: Considerable number of light scratches/scuff marks that will be audible.
