The White Album
This listing is for a very rare, original, top-opening copy of the Beatles' double LP, “The Beatles”, more commonly known as “The White Album”. This is complete, including it's original poster, four colour photos and black paper inner record sleeves.
I have owned this album from new and it has had little play. It certainly hasn't been played in the last 40 years. It was purchased by me in late 1968.
I am fed-up with the amount of similar listings that describe their album as 'low numbered' even though, on examination, the number can be anything from 100,000 to 300,000. I am pleased to say that my copy IS extremely low numbered and it will be difficult to find one with as low a number and in such good condition.

Despite researching the system, I have difficulty in using the various condition guides that are in use by experts. Each appears to be different from another so I will give you my honest opinion of the complete package and also ask that you consider the photos I have attached.
The cover is in excellent, sturdy condition but has 'creamed' over the years. The outer spine has some of the glossy laminate flaking but there are no stains or tears. The inside of the cover is clean with no marks.
The inner black paper sleeves are in excellent with no marks or tears. Each have two folds at the corners to assist replacing them into the outer cover and these were like this when I purchased the album.
The poster is in good condition with no writing, marks or stains but have very slightly split where two of the creases cross each other.
The photos are in excellent condition and still have the original, very rare, plain paper sheet that protects them.
The discs themselves are in very good/excellent condition generally but there is a mark across the first track of side 2 and the last track of side 3. I don't think that this affects the playing of the record though.
It seems that I should state that the catalogue no's. are PMC 7067/8 and that the Apple label states “Sold in UK” etc. If you really want me to include matrix no's and each side's stampers (whatever they are) then please ask and I will happily forward them to you.
I have a good idea what the value of this album is and will not let it go for peanuts but neither am I someone who expects to get thousands for an unsealed, never played copy.
I WOULD WELCOME ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SEE THIS ALBUM FOR THEMSELVES TO CONTACT ME AND ARRANGE A VIEWING (and listening?).
