Description
This version of the White Album made in the UK for export to Europe in 1978 is considered by many as the finest sounding version in analogue. It was freshly cut from the 1st generation original stereo master tapes for special cutting purposes.
This copy is rated in VG++ condition with barely any spindle marks on all four sides when examined under a bright desk lamp. The cover is also in VG+ condition with a crease on the right corner of the front cover otherwise there is very little in the way of discoloration, no peeling of the laminate surface and no seam splits.
Side 2 warrants a special mention. There is a 1 inch mark on the record which is actually some black vinyl residue that was left in the hopper before the white vinyl was added at the factory. This absolutely DOES NOT affect the play of the record at all. Just a cosmetic blemish is all but it does need to be mentioned to avoid any surprises.
The four color pictures of The Beatles and the poster are included and like new.
Nice copies of this album are getting harder to find and this one would be an excellent additon to any Beatles collection.
