The Beatles "White Album" Ultra-rare No. 000041
The chances of getting such a low numbered one again are very slim. 20 million "White Albums" were sold since it went on sale in December 1968 with 2 million sold in the first two weeks.
This is an ORIGINAL UK ***MONO*** 2 LP Set issued in 1968 and comes COMPLETE in its original TOP OPENING laminated gatefold sleeve, four original colour photographs (one of each Beatle), an Original Poster/Lyric Sheet, and 2 original Black Die Cut Inner bags.
Both Vinyl LPs are on the origional dark green Apple label, with 'Sold in UK' label text. The Side 1 Matrix is XEX 709-1, Side 2 Matrix, XEX 710-1, Side 3 Matrix: XEX 711-1, and Side 4 Matrix XEX 712-1.
The condition of the cover is excellent and still maintains its creamish white sheen although not the pristine white of 1968 when it was purchased. The spine is solid. There is a marking between the "B" and "E" of "Beatles" but not significant.
The vinyl is is excellent condition with only occassional hints of slight surface noise.
The Beatles pictures and poster insert are in very good condition with some moulding on the poster insert but not significant.
The reserve reflects that fact that a complete Beatles White Album numbered at a much lower 0000439 sold for £930.
