Description
For sale is a copy of The Beatles self-titled tenth studio album, ‘TheBeatles’ commonly known as ‘The White Album’.
This is an original UK Stereo 3rd Pressing produced in early1969.
This copy has the extremely rare ‘side opening’ sleeve with a 7 digit serial number.
The serial number on this copy is #0133599. This is one of the lowest number genuine stereo sleeves that you will find.
To increase the rarity, this is a crossover pressing which has 3rd pressing labels Side 1, 2, and 4 and 4th pressing label on Side 3.
I own over 20 white albums and I have never seen one like this. It is an extremely rare copy that is a fantastic addition for the completist collector.

Many vinyl records are mis-sold on eBay. There are several details which identify this copy as a true 3rd pressing crossover. They are:
- · Laminated gatefold sleeve with embossed ‘The Beatles’ text and 7 digit serial number.
- · Dark green Apple logo labels.
- · No ‘Sold in the U.K. …’ text on any of the four sides.
- · ‘An E.M.I.Recording’ printed on one line on sides 1, 2, and 4 (3rd Press).
- · ‘An E.M.I.Recording’ printed over two lines on sides 3 (4th Press)
- · ‘PCS 7068’ catalogue number.
- · Matrix numbers YEX 709-1 (side 1), YEX 710-1 (side 2),YEX 711-2 (side 3), YEX 712-2 (side 4).

I use the Goldmine standard as a reference for grading.
Vinyl: Excellent
The vinyl is in superb visual condition and has fantastic playback.
The vinyl surface retains the original gloss sheen.
The labels are bright and have virtually no spindle wear.
There are only a couple of light marks on either side.
The audio on all four sides is fantastic; crisp and clear with very little background crackle.
A really enjoyable record to listen to.
Sleeve: Excellent
The sleeve is in great condition.
Both the front, rear and centrefold are very white with very few blemishes.
The corners are sharp, and the spine is well defined.
There are no rips, tears or writing present anywhere on the sleeve.
The only thing to note is a slight crease in the bottom right corner.
Inner Sleeves: Excellent
The inner sleeves are the original ‘patent pending’ Apple inner sleeves
(can provide pictures upon request).They are both very white without any staining or discolouration.
There is no writing or creasing.
Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality inner sleeve which provides the best possible protection for the record.
The four photocard portraits of each of the Beatles are also in excellent condition (can provide pictures upon request).
The poster is not present.
This is a fantastic copy of an extremely rare record. I doubt you will ever see another!
The outer sleeve, vinyl, and inner sleeve are all housed within a premium quality polythene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent within a padded vinyl record mailer and will be sent via an insured courier.
