Description
The Beatles ‘The Beatles (White Album)’ Stereo SECOND pressing! COMPLETE with photos/plain Apple inners/ poster SUPERB copy!!*
This extremely scarce Beatles White album was pressed during 1969 in stereo still on the rarer Dark green Apple label along with a SIDE opening numbered sleeve, the key difference being that the labels do NOT bear 'sold in uk...' statements, and the sleeves numbered side opening sleeve still bears a number in the larger font style rather than later pressings where the number font became smaller- these sleeves were printed it would seem at the same time as top opening sleeves as the number is not only of the same style as the top opening copies, but also the actual number itself is still relatively low in comparison to some of the top opening copies I own and have seen. This copy is in outstanding condition!
Outer Sleeve: A very nice solid example of this rarer side opening sleeve, with no major faults, perhaps just a couple of light creases in the lamination along with very light storage wear but overall very nice. Excellent Minus.
Side One/ Two: A very nice first disc wwith just a few minor light surface hairlines visable under etreme bright light. Play too is nice -crisp warm and powerful stereo sound. Excellent.
Side Three/ Four: Again a very nice disc with fantastic audio evident, very clean and unabused with just a few of the lightest hairlines evident under bright light. Excellent Plus
Labels: All grading as Excellent Plus/ Near Mint.
Original inners: Both present and in very nice unsplit condition. Excellent Plus.
Poster: Excellent Plus.
