Description

Very hard to find low number 0047404 1967 first edition complete ‘White Album’ from 1967, extremely hard to find these Mono LP’s in this condition or any condition close to Excellent  especially anywhere under No 0050000 especially without the E.M.I recording statement.

Recent Mono copies in Mint- condition with low numbers have been selling for up to £1000 sometimes higher.

About me:

I'm sure a few of you looking know me by now and understand the majority of my collection is in Mint-/Excellent+ condition  and that I am selling my private collection I have accumulated over many years and I'm very anal about grading. I have sold a Black and Gold Please Please Me Stereo copy last year in Excellent+ condition and many Blue Horizon records in absolutely superb Mint- condition as well as first press Blue Text Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland and a Mint- David Bowie Man Who Sold The World 'Dress Cover' to satisfied buyers.

I always ask to please read through my listings as I understand it's a delicate thing grading a record like this. I am also happy to send any requested photo's.

I do not put my records though cleaning machines as I leave this to the buyers discretion. A professional clean can benefit the sound quality as some of these records are over 50 years old and gather light dust in the grooves from the static.

I am more than happy to send any extra required photographs upon request.

Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 3 LP & Side 4: 4 TG.

Condition:

All four records are visually in Excellent condition, inspected under strong light there are some light surface markings and a few hairlines grading these LP's as Excellent. All four vinyls play through better than excellent with only the odd light background popple / light tick here and there and absolutely no skips of any description. Very clean playback.

The labels have some light spindle marks which are hard to capture on the photos which indicates that this record has been played but well cared for.

The two records come in the regional Die-cut black inner sleeves which are around Excellent Excellent- condition, small seam split of around 1 1/2 inches on the bottom of one sleeve and the edges have some rubbing wear as pictured.

The original gatefold flip back sleeve is in impressive Excellent+ condition pushing Mint-, some light storage wear to corners and a small light crease top right, nice and solid with a light crackle when opened. Some light lamination age lifting to the spine and a title age opening crease.

The sleeve is embossed with ‘THE BEATLES’ and printed bottom left No 0047404 the last digit of the ‘4’ only half stamped as pictured and a little age lamination lifting around the embossment.

The four gloss photos and spacer are all Mint-.

The large poster is un hung and still correctly folded showing some light age fading and light rubbing on two of the folds, Excellent condition with no creasing to corners.

Audio Quality:

Both discs play through lovely with a strong mono punch, there is no skipping just the odd light background crackle in some areas on super quite bits or between some tracks, the only area I noticed any light ticks was at the beginning of the last song. A great sound quality which I would grade around 8.5/10 on the whole.
