This Excellent UK 1st stereo pressing dates from late 1968 on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7067/8

All labels carry the 'Sold in UK...'  & 'An EMI Recording' texts.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.

Matrices: YEX 709-1/710-1 & YEX 711-1/712-1

Stamper codes: 1/G, 3/TA & 1/G & 5/GGT

Vinyl weights: 145g & 138g

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed top-opening stereo gatefold cover numbered: No.0529076

Complete with 4 x color portrait photos, UK printed poster & original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeves.

CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT +

All are clean & unworn with a handful of light spindle trails on disc 1 labels and just 2 on each of disc 2.

Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT  Disc 2: EXCELLENT +

All playing surfaces are clean & unworn with no the only noticeable sign of wear being a light scuff on side 1. However, there are no further surface marks or any scratches on any side in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath halogen light reveals only some harmless light marks made by the unforgiving matt-inners.

Audio: EXCELLENT +

Both discs have been little played and all tracks play cleanly and clearly without any groove/playwear, crackle, clicks or any other audible interference. Aside from the usual light vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this keeper copy.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A fine clean & glossy example with unworn outer panels. The laminate around the raised front panel wording is fully intact and the unique number is bold and unworn. There is a touch of wear to the opening edge of the rear pocket but the corners are in great shape and free from any heavy bumps or bruises. Both panels inside the gatefold are clean & undamaged and the small 'stereo' indicator' is clean & readable on the rear panel. The spine laminate has some splitting but a 3cm split midway along but both sets of lettering either end are readable.

Poster: EXCELLENT

Inner-sleeves: VERY GOOD

Clean & flat with some light storage bends and a few small tears to the central window of one , but no seam splits.
