Description

An amazing copy of The Beatles' White Album - an early pressing from Portugal on Apple records 8E 164 04 173
I have seen many of these Portuguese White Albums with an un-numbered, side-opening laminated sleeve, (and a mis-spelling of Dear Prudence - 'Dear Pdudence') HOWEVER this one has been printed/finished with laminate, but the FOUR BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS OF THE BEATLES HAVE NOT BEEN PRINTED!... AT ALL!!    
If you hold the cover up to the light, you can see the rectangle boxes where the photos are normally, so the printing press must have not been set up correctly (Not sure how the process was done, but I would imagine a colour transparency or maybe a printing block was not in place)
It is very unusual for such a colossal mistake to slip through an EMI release.  
The cover is in VG+ condition - the card in the inner gatefold is a little wrinkled (see photos) possibly due to manufacturing fault?  The rest of the sleeve is great- the spine is perfect.
The lps are EX.    No poster or photos were included in this particular release, so I believe this to be complete (apart from the obvious!)
