Description
The White Album is the rarest LP pressed in the U.K. for export, and is in the top 10 of the rarest and most valuable Beatles albums. These export Apple albums on the Parlophone label are a special export exception as they were produced for those countries where the Apple label had not yet been licensed. This particular version is a contract pressing farmed out to the Decca pressing plants as EMI could not cope with the demand for Beatles albums.
The Album is, overall, in very good condition. The vinyls themselves are in very good condition and were only played on top quality turntables and cartridges (my dad's and, later, mine). The sleeves and cover are in good condition, although some signs of use are visible. The (visually uncensored) poster - although fully intact - has the most signs of wear, having adorned my bedroom wall some 50 years ago! The photos of John, Paul, George & Ringo are, however, pristine.
This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a very good example one of the rarest versions of one of the The Beatles' greatest albums.
