Description
Here we have a rare complete copy of The Beatles' White Album from 1968. This was probably their most recognizable and most applauded album of all time since it took such a long time to record. The album features a lot of their more mainstream rock numbers such as "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Birthday". This is the 2nd issue of this album since it does not contain the misprint of the song "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill", but is still a 1968 pressing. Curiously enough, though, the song "Rocky Raccoon" is misspelled as "Rocky Racoon". The records are pressed on the standard green Apple labels with the mention of Capitol on the flip side of both records. The records are in VG condition with a good amount of surface scratches and scuffs here and there. There are a couple of surface scratches that go along the whole diameter of the album, but look worse than they actually are. The album plays through without skipping and has the normal pops and crackles that one could expect of a VG record. The cover is a strong VG with very light ring wear and some edge wear. The front cover has a tear on the top right hand corner, most likely from a sticker. There is some slight staining on the back cover. The cover is numbered as follows: A0480412. This is a relatively low number, which is somewhat of a rare find. The album includes the 4 photos and the poster. John's photo has a couple small tears on his forehead. The poster is in rather poor condition with tears along the seams and stains here and there. Please see all the pictures to determine condition. Overall, this album would make a great addition to your collection. This item is being sold as is and as found. Thank you!
