Description
The Beatles
White Album (Double LP)
The Beatles is the ninth official album by the English rock group the Beatles, a double album released in 1968. It is also commonly known as the "White Album" as it has no graphics or text other than the band's name. The album was written and recorded during a period of turmoil for the group, after visiting the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in India and having a particularly productive songwriting session in early 1968. Returning to the studio, the group recorded from May to October 1968, only to have conflict and dissent drive the group members apart. Ringo Starr quit the band for a brief time, leaving Paul McCartney to play drums on two tracks. Many of the songs were "solo" recordings, or at least by less than the full group, as each individual member began to explore his own talent. Upon release in November 1968, the album received near universal acclaim and reached number 1 on the charts in the United Kingdom and the United States. The album is notable for the eclectic nature of its songs, which has divided critics in evaluating its legacy. The album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide and was listed at number 10 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list. Previously in 1987, as part of their 20th anniversary, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it #9 on "The 100 Best Albums of the Last Twenty Years."

Songs (see picture)
Record is Out of Print.
Very Good ++ (VG++) = Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Album Cover = Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+) = Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean. Album Cover = clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying.
Very Good (VG) = Vinyl surface will show wear, including surface scuffs and scratches. Surface noise is noticeable, and there may be a few clicks or pops during soft passages. On loud rock albums surface noise is mostly apparent between tracks. However, the record is still very listenable. The cover may have creases, have record store cut corners or a punched hole and may have noticeable ring wear and spine wear, but it will still have most of its original gloss. Cover may have minor writing, stains, or age related yellowing, and white covers especially begin to show more scuffing and yellowing with age than darker covers in this grade. There will be no seam splits longer than 1”.
Good (G) = Vinyl surface has general scuffing and scratching all over. Surface noise is very apparent between tracks. There will be repetitive clicks or pops. There may be backward & forward skips. The album will still be listenable and enjoyable in a party setting, but not when listening critically in a quiet room. Records with many quiet music passages will not be enjoyable in these grades. Covers will vary in quality and may have prominent seam splits (that are taped over or not), scuffing, and ring wear, with only some of the original gloss left. There may be staining, water damage, tearing and writing on the cover.
LP will be sent in a Sturdy Container with FRAGILE & DO NOT BEND stamped in Red on box.
