The Beatles - The White Album (Double LP 1968) Rare 'Mono' version with 'top opening' sleeve, relatively 'low number 0081007'  ??? (Please note the number has faded quite badly over the years, but I'm sure this is the right number).

Apple Records: PMC 7067 (Mono)

Both vinyl's are only in 'Fair' condition, there are a lot of light marks, scuffs and light hairlines on all four sides, thankfully nothing too heavy, both records still play well however there is a certain amount of background noise, especially between tracks, although I didn't detect any jumps or skips.

Gatefold laminated sleeve is infact in 'good/very good' condition, only a small amount of general wear around the opening and the laminate has started to come away down the spine, there is no unwanted names or writing.

The original poster is in two pieces and generally in 'fair/good' condition.

There is no photos with this item.

In summary, if you are looking for 'mint' or even 'excellent' copies of this then this is not for you, the sleeve is in decent condition, however the records lets it down a bit, a bit better than a 'collection filler'.

I try to be as accurate as possible with my grading of the records, based on the guide in the Record Collector magazine, but occasionally peoples perception of a record are very different. In this case if the record is far removed from the discription I put, then I will give a full refund.

In other words if I haven't put 'Mint' or 'Excellent' then it isn't.!!!

Grading:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deteriation in sound quality, despite slight surface marks andthe occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor/Bad : Forget it!!!!!
