Description
This is a very low numbered ‘White Album’
I believe this to Have been pressed within the first week of release ~ 0005747. The number is clearly embossed and legible unlike many here at EBay.
The stamper numbers are 1P ~ 1O ~ 2TR ~ 7GDR
Runout Matrices -1 -1 -1 -1 and the KT code visible all indicators of a authenticity.
This is complete with 4 photos and ‘kiss’ poster/lyric sheet. There is no laminate lift to front laminate sleeve but there is a some discolouration and fade. Please see photos. The rear panel has a scratch as if it has been pushed along a surface causing marks. Again please see photos. Overall over the last 50 years You might say it has gained character but remains in very good condition.
The two original black die cut inners have worn well over the years they are obviously fragile if handled roughly. These two have some reinforcement tape on edges done quite professionally but you would not notice unless looking for it.
Side 1 : is in glossy condition and and the dark green label is in excellent condition.
Side 2 : same as the first vinyl but with odd light mark to the surface.
Side 3 : vinyl again similar clean glossy finish but has two visible needle marks. I have played this side more than the others but the Audio seems unaffected.
Side 4 : As above very clean but a couple of light scuffs. I have played all sides and the audio is excellent with only the odd pop and crackle.
All the above is encased in a quite rare NEMS sleeve courtesy of Brian Epstein’s record shop in Liverpool and is nice clean condition.
I am selling my small collection of vinyls since I will be moving abroad and I hope this one will find a good home.
