WITH THE BEATLES –AN ORIGINAL 1963 UK FIRST PRESSING BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE LABEL **STEREO** VINYL LP - PCS 3045.
Album Description/Condition:
First released on the 22nd November1963, this is the rarer **STEREO** Version of The Beatles second UK Album release With The Beatles, on the Black & Yellow Parlophone Record labels.
This issue is unique having all 5 errors on one Album.
The errors are as follows.
1. The front of this sleeve is the rarer withdrawn Darker Image version of The Beatles, this darker image is easy to recognise, if you look at the Beatles eyes you will see the their left eyes are almost blacked out .
2. The publishing credit Dominion Mus. is misspelt as Domion.
3. The song title on the record label, You Really Got a Hold on Me is shown as, You Really Gotta Hold on Me.
4. The song title You Really Got a Hold on Me on the track listing on the reverse of the sleeve is shown as, You Really Gotta a Hold on Me.
5. The Publishing credit for the song Money, is wrongly credited to Jobete Mus..
Both record labels have the ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘Made in Gt Britain’ label text, recording first published 1963, and printed ‘stereo’wording to both record labels.
Both record label are in superb Excellent Plus condition, very clean labels with no fading to the Yellow and Silver Printed text, showing only a few light centre spindle lines to each label .
The side 1 matrix is: YEX 110-2 and side 2: YEX 111-2.
Side 1 stampers: 2 RG and side 2: 1 M
There is an embossed KT Tax code visible on the side 2 record label.
Both side of the immaculate Heavy Quality vinyl disc are in beautiful Mint Minus condition, an outstanding vinyl disc with flawless surfaces.
Audio Quality:
This album never fails to produce a Stunningly Powerful Sound Quality, this one plays superb throughout the tracks, a beautiful powerful clear early Stereo sound quality from beginning to end.
The LP comes in its original quality ‘Use Emitex’ Polythene Lined Inner Bag which is in Excellent Plus condition, NO seam splits or handwriting, just light creasing.
…And is protected in it’s Original Front Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse 3 flip back sleeve, with large 'Stereo’ printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
The sleeve is in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, it is firm and strong with a very glossy front panel showing mild record storage signs, and some laminate pinches, all edges are undamaged with just a couple of mild corner bumps.
The reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean with the mildest of handling signs at the opening edge, all three flipbacks are undamaged, and the spine edge wording is clearly legible.
A superb example of this original UK Beatles Album in the rarer Stereo format a 1st Pressing from 1963 with all 5 errors.
