Description
The Beatles, WHITE ALBUM, Vinyl LP No. 0047054,
2nd PRESS, Apple Label on the vinyl KT tax code. PMC 7067, Apple
Gatefold sleeve with openings at the top. The Beatles embossed.
Am relatively new to selling vinyl so will describe the condition. See photos too.
The vinyl has some surface marks but not too many for the age. A longer surface mark on side 2. Side 3 is visually the best side, then side 4, side 2 and side 1 in my opinion.
Played some of the LP. The overall sound was very good and there wasn't much crackle overall. There are also a few other marks e.g. a small ridged area.
Tracks I played. Only the areas with the most obvious marks have been played.
Side 1 'Back in the USSR' it jumped quickly near the end after the guitar music ...around where John sings "show me" but carries on fine.
Ridge / blob area - it popped a bit but didn't get stuck. It happens on the end of 'Wild Honey Pie' it may slow slightly. Then it carries on fine.
Side 2 - longer surface mark played fine
Side 4 - track 4 'Cry Baby Cry' felt bit rough to the touch but it played consistently (as in didn't jump). I noticed where John sings 'Take me Back' right at the end I can hear a click type noise where it goes quieter. There is a bit of crackle.
Outer Sleeve has some wearing mainly on the corners and on the front is discoloured in the middle. Also some other areas - see photos. On the inner side - see one of the photos you can see the outline / indent of the name TONY
