Description
These are all mostly first press singles there are a couple second press, some are duplicate song titles but the label has different variations. Most end in 1n on both sides apart from a few that have different numbers for first presses. Kostnof the outer sleeves are original but do have tears and defects.
Help ends in 2n and 1 has parlaphone around the edge meaning first print the other one has Gramophone meaning second print.
We can work it out is 4n/1n and has parlaphone around the edge so that is a first press.
Paperback writer is 2n/2n first prints as it has writing in the middle of the vinyl and second prints only came out with a solid middle.
The ticket to ride is 3n/2n which is a first press there are 2 versions of this as they have different variations of the label.
The strawberry fields forever ends in 1n/2n which is a nesr end of print first print but the picture sleeve one co.es with the rarer green parlaphone label on the back (pictured) rather than the more common black label. The first initial 250000 came with the wavy top sleeve. The other strawberry fields is a first press but comes in an aftermarket repro sleeve.
The apple singles have a couple duplicates of songs but some have a tabbed middle and a solid middle.
The lady madonna single is a first press and a misprint as it has the labels on the wrong side so a bit of a rarity.
The orange single is one of the first singles for the beatles recorded with Tony sheridan with my bonnie. This is the English version which can be hard to get with original sleeve.
The please please me is a first press as it doesn't have mono written on it and is a 1n press. Unfortunately this does have a section missing from the label and has some pen on it.
There are 3 versions of she loves you all first press jut different labels.
The all you need is love is a second press as it has the brackets with recored during live world television transmission. One has its yabbed centre the other is missing it and has a push in centre fitted.
This also has a first press john lennons imagine single too.
To my knowledge they all played okay but some may have crackle noises or a small skip as could see any deep scratches in them. Butni have owned them for at least 6 years without playing them for the last 5 years.
Any questions please ask and if you like more beatles stuff I will have some other bits online soon.
