THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES VI'
This 1966 UK 1st EXPORT pressing of their seventh Capitol album is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: CPCS 104
Pressed specifically for sale to U.S. army personnel based in Europe, this album uses the original U.S. mixes
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK....' text but retain 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label
Matrix numbers: YEEX 112-A15 & YEEX 113-A15 (ST2 2451)
Stamper codes: 1/A & 1/M

Housed within a front laminated tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover

Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & bright with some light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean with just a few harmless light surface lines, but nothing I would call a scratch. There is some surface wear rubbing which is mainly visible in the run-out areas but these do not affect sound or play. Both sides of the disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
All tracks on this pressing are the 'remixed' U.S. mixes which play cleanly & clearly with no groove/playwear distortion. Apart from two clicks on 'Words Of Love' my playcheck found no further significant distractions or any other audible faults.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A fully intact exmaple moderate handling /storagewear. The front panel is fully intact and clean but has some storagewear rubbing and light handling wrinkles. There is some shelfwear to the lower two corners & some feathering to the front opening edge too. The rear panel has some age-related blemishes and has a small missing piece of flipback in the lower right corner, but both seams are unsplit and the spine is fully and clearly worded. No original inner-sleeve is present.
