Description
Last month I began putting up for auction MANY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES & MATCHING 45 RPM RECORDS from my OWN VINYL COLLECTION. Here is ROUND 2!!! So if you missed out on some picture sleeves last month, here’s another opportunity. In this auction are 2 Beatles Picture Sleeves with 2 Beatles original Capitol orange-yellow swirl label 45 RPM records.
Here are the details on the picture sleeves and records:
Record/Picture Sleeve #1:
· “I FEEL FINE” b/w “SHE’S A WOMAN” by The Beatles
· This is Capitol 5327.
· This record was released November 23, 1964.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is STRONG VG+. What is nice about the sleeve is that it does not show any ring wear on either side, and this dark sleeve was quick to show wear. There is some disk impression (impression, not ring wear) and the number “57” written on one side (not obtrusive). There is some light glue staining on one side in the white area (I often see this on West Coast sleeves), and there are also 2 small indentions (not holes) near the center on the “I Feel Fine/She’s A Woman” side of the sleeve but NOT on the other side of the sleeve. There are NO tears, NO ring wear, and NO seam splits.
· This is a West Coast Sleeve with the tab-cut at the opening.
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS.
Record/Picture Sleeve #2:
· “EIGHT DAYS A WEEK” b/w “I DON’T WANT TO SPOIL THE PARTY” by The Beatles
· This is Capitol Records 5371.
· This record was released February 15, 1965.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is NEAR MINT MINUS. This is a FLAT SLEEVE. The ONLY thing that keeps me from grading the sleeve Near Mint is some light glue staining on one side in the white area near the top. (I often see this on West Coast sleeves.) Since this may be from the manufacture of the sleeve, this may raise the grading to NM. Obviously, with this grade, there are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS, NO CREASES, and NO WRITING.
· This is a West Coast Sleeve with the tab-cut at the opening.
· The VINYL is Strong VG to Weak VG+ with some light hairlines/scuffs.
Both of these sleeves have GREAT IMAGES OF THE BEATLES LIVE ON STAGE!!!
