Description
Original US Apple issue of The Beatles (“The White Album”) in still sealed condition. Number 0901426 appears on the front cover and a grey dot appears before the number. Original price sticker ($5.50) appears on shrink.
Overall the shrink is tight. There are tears in the shrink in several places and I have tried to capture these in the photos. On the front cover, there is a tear on the bottom right (to the right of the number) that runs for 3 ¾ inches along the seam. At the top right, there is a tear of 1 ¾ inches and this is the one area where a small piece of the shrink is missing. Also on the front cover, shrink is torn in an area ½ inch long on the upper right section an area about 2 inches long to the left of the green sticker (these tears do not show up well in the photos as the shrink is not missing and lays over the area).
On the rear cover, there are 1 or 2 small areas (1/4 inch) where shrink is torn, along with a couple of breath holes.
Sleeve shows some browning due to age, and this is most noticeable on the front cover. No significant creases to the cover and the corners are nice. A nice copy of an original US Apple issue that is very hard to find in still sealed condition.
