Description
This is a gatefold stereo copy of The Beatles “White Album” as issued by Mobile Fidelity. The record is in excellent condition with no scratches or scuffs. When I first bought it , I cleaned it with a VPI record cleaner, and treated it with LAST record preservative. The record has been properly stored in a smoke free environment since I originally purchased it. Recently I recleaned the record with Audio Intelligent fluids on my VPI record cleaner and ran it through my Audio Desk Ultrasonic record cleaner. It has also been demagnetized it with a Furutech DeMag. Playing it recently with a VPI turntable, 3D arm, and Lyra Parnassus cartridge, the record plays very quietly although there is one light ticks on the fadeout to “Back in the USSR”, one light tick on the fadeout to “Piggies”, one light tick at the beginning of “Rocky Raccoon”, one light tick on “Don’t Pass Me By”, four light ticks on “Julia”, two light ticks on the fadeout to “Birthday”, two light ticks in the fadeout to “Yer Blues” and a few at the beginning of “Mother Nature’s Son”, one light tick at the end of “Helter Skelter”, two light ticks at the beginning of “Savoy Truffle”, and three light ticks on “Cry Baby Cry”. The cover is in very good condition with no ring wear or seam splits, but there is some staining along the spine on both the inside and outside cover. It looks like possible water damage. The songs include: Back in the U.S.S.R.; Dear Prudence; Glass Onion; Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da; Wild Honey Pie; The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill; While My Guitar Gently Weeps; Happiness is a Warm Gun; Martha My Dear; I’m so tired; Blackbird; Piggies; Rocky Raccoon; Don’t Pass Me By; Why don’t we do it in the road?; I Will; Julia; Birthday; Yer Blues; Mother Nature’s Son; Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey; Sexy Sadie; Helter Skelter; Long, Long, Long; Revolution 1; Honey Pie; Savoy Truffle; Cry Baby Cry; Revolution 9; and Good Night. The record also includes the the Mobile Fidelity paperwork and the cardboard wrappers with the printed lyrics. These wrappers do not have any watermarks. It is only on the cover spine area. Multiple LPs can be combined in a shipment to save shipping costs.
