The Beatles - The White Album 1968 Mono Numbered Top Loader EX/EX No Inserts.

This is a 2nd UK pressing of the superb “The Beatles” double LP dating from November 1968. This is a second pressing but 1st issue dating from the year of release.

It’s a Mono pressing and is a great listening copy with great audio throughout.

Identifiers:

Apple labels have “an EMI recording” on all 4 labels (emitted from the 1st press) side 4 has a KT impressed tax code.

Matrix numbers:

Side 1 - XEX 709-1

Side 2 - XEX 710-1

Side 3 - XEX 711-1

Side 4 - XEX 712-1

Gatefold top opening sleeve with number No. 0618940 “The Beatles” embossed on the front.

Black inner sleeves. No photos or poster unfortunately

Condition:

The vinyl is fully play graded and plays a strong EX to EX plus. There are a few light marks (mainly side 2) and some light mottling to the vinyl. The run ins do have some light crackle but this ends at the run ins and the record plays well throughout with no major deterioration in sound or audible background noise. It really is a superb sounding copy with very few faults and superb audio. Visually I would say sides 1,3 and 4 are EX and side 2 VG+ however all play EX/EX+

The sleeve is EX with light discolouration only. No writing, etc.

The original black inners are VG. They have been folded on the corners for inserting back into the sleeve.

Overall this is a really good sounding and playable original Mono issue from the year of release.
