Description
You are bidding on The Beatles classic The Beatles aka ‘The White Album’ on a very rare Irish Pressing. This version is the one with the following unique matrices
Side 1 YEX 709-3 IRL C HFM
Side 2 YEX 710-3 IR- (the IR- is upside down, the dash I suspect is a badly formed L not sure)
Side 3 YEX 711-1 IRL
Side 4 YEX 712-2 IRL (IRL is also upside down)
The record itself is looks in very good condition (VG\lower end VG+) with a few minor hairlines and plays VG+ . There are no skips, jumps pops etc but there is a little background in parts – nothing serious. Both discs comes in a plain white half die cut inner. I suspect this to be a pressing from 1983-ish and is probably either the same or a slightly earlier version as this one (Matrix side one differs slightly and could be a typo by the poster). https://www.discogs.com/The-Beatles-The-Beatles/release/6527282
The outer sleeve is intact. There is a little ageing and ring wear typical of others I have seen. It came to me in a PVC outer so I assume it was stored that way. The spine is intact with normal wear for a gatefold. The blue lettering is readable a little feint. Interior gatefold is in very good order. This is the UK Garrod & Lofthouse International one with ‘The Beatles’ embossed on the front. VG\Lower end VG+ overall
Labels are in very good condition and ‘Made In Ireland’ is clear on all labels at the Nine O’Clock position. Side one has a hard to spot letter L written beside the stalk of the apple 7mm x 2mm in biro and possibly a biro mark of 3mm above the word Martha in the titles. Spindles are very good with minimal if any wear
To complete this it contains the poster and four prints. The poster is unused and has a little creasing probably from the record going in and out of the sleeve. Not major. The prints are also unused and in very good order
Overall I would say this was a well card for and occasionally played copy
Postage – I ship via An Post, Ireland’s general mail service. The LP will be posted in a brand new mailer manufactured by top manufacturer Lil Packaing with a further stiffener and heavy PVS outer for more protection. Of course it will be clearly marked fragile
