This is the rare, first issue UK Parlophone Label **EXPORT** Vinyl LP for The Beatles Second Album, first released in 1966 for the **EXPORT MARKET ONLY** and not available to purchase in the UK.

This RARE 1st Issue UK EXPORT Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone label, with 'Gramophone Co Ltd' label rim, 'Made in Gt Britain', and the export catalogue number ‘CPCS 103’ printed to both record labels, and without the usual ‘Sold in UK subject to re-sale price conditions’ label text statement as the album was issued for Export purposes only.

Both sides of the record labels are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, bright unfaded record labels, showing only light centre spindle lines to both sides.

Visually both sides of the heavyweight Vinyl disc are in Excellent condition, the vinyl surfaces are very clean and bright, both sides of the disc show a couple of light surface scratches.There are no deep scratches or scuffs, the visible surface line on side two of the vinyl disc, does not sound when played.

The Official side 1 Export matrix is YEEX 110-A9/ and Side 2: YEEX 111-A9.
Side 1 stampers are: '1R, and side 2: 1R.
There is an embossed KT tax/price code to the centre of the side 1 record label.

The album comes in its ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex…’ Inner bag which is RESPECTABLE example showing inevitable mild creasing and age toning, and a small 1”split to one edge.

…And is protected in it’s ORIGINAL First Issue Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated three flip back sleeve printed with the export catalogue number ‘CPCS 103’ to the reverse of the sleeve.

The sleeve is in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus condition. The front panel maintains it’s high gloss shine, with only mild record indentation.

The reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean, and shows only mild handling signs, all 3 flipbacks are undamaged, there is a signature in black ink at the top left corner.

All three edges and the spine edge are undamaged, and spine wording ‘The Beatles Second Album’ clearly legible.

The album plays very well through all of the tracks, with just mild background crackle on some of the tracks, with no skips or clicks.

Overall a very nice example of this rare and seldom seen FIRST ISSUE Beatles UK STEREO EXPORT album.
