The Beatles: 'THE BEATLES FIRST' - ORIGINAL UK **1ST ISSUE** STEREO POLYDOR SPECIAL LP –CATALOGUE NUMBER 236.201. Released in the UK in 1967, this is a **1st Issue** 'Beatles First' Stereo LP on the Red Polydor Special Record Labels, with Made in England printed on both record labels.
This album was originally a Music Library Copy, and has the wording, CAMDEN PUBLIC LIBRARIES, stamped into the trail out area on side two of the LP.(see scan)
Both record labels are in stunning Near Mint condition, showing signs of just a few plays to the centre spindle holes.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are also in superb Near Mint condition, the vinyl surfaces are gleaming, and show nothing more than a couple of light surface hairlines.
All tracks play without any faults, great sounding early tracks.
The album features 12 early songs as recorded by Tony Sheridan and The Beat Brothers, and featuring The Beatles with Tony Sheridan, and recorded in Hamburg in 1961.
The Vinyl Disc comes in a White poly Lined Inner Bag and is housed in a fantastic and Unique Laminated Brightly Coloured Pop Art Sleeve designed by Barry Zaid and manufactured by Ernest J Day, UK.
The Laminated sleeve is in fanstastic **Near Mint** condition - Beautiful clean and crisp Sleeve, beautiful bright and unfaded colours, crisp edges and corners, showing only extremely mild record indentation to the front of the sleeve, and a few light manufacturing laminate pinches. The reverse of the sleeve is still very white with just a couple of insignificant marks to the bottom next to the side two track listing.
